Just fixed a leak on my oil return line. Started the car and it did its normal cold engine reving start. After heating up the rpms dropped and the check engine light came on. Now when i try to rev anywhere past 2rpm, it starts to bog down and basically stops reving any further. Any ideas what this could be? MAF? Idle surge? Help please.

Yah, I have a logger. It's not plugged in though but I am on my way to do so in a minute. Are there any websites or books I can look at for the codes?

i had a simaler problem you should check the conection to the power trarsitor fo the coil.follow the timing belt back, the conector is long and flat 6 pin,i had to tweek the terminal a bit and use some die-electric grease to get a good conection.:thumb:

mass airflow, cas, or ecu, also could be fuel related such as fuel pump fuel injectors had the same problem about a year ago and took forever to figure it out my fuel injectors were clogged was only going running on 1 injector swapped them out and all was fine but yours I'd say would be mas because of the idling up and down.

I switched my mafs with a working one and it didn't fix the CEL. I already know something is wrong with the mafs wiring so I'm going to look into that next. Thanks for the help.
