Now that my stock clutch is pretty much toast I'm starting to look around for a new one and all the parts I'll need. I just bought a fidanza flywheel, but I cant decide if I want the fidanza 2.1 or 3.2 or a center force dual friction clutch. I just got done watching the fidanza clutch video (www.fidanza.com) and in some way it convinced me to go with one of their clutches, but I'm still concidering the cfdf. I also plan on buying a stainless clutch line and a new fork and pivot ball. Would it also be necessary to buy an extnded clutch rod?

Main questions...
1.Whitch clutch should I buy?
a. fidanza 2.1
b. fidanza 3.2
c. center force dual friction
2. Should I buy an extended clutch rod?

If you were wondering about the power of my car just check out my mods list and keep in mind I'll be installing a T-28 turbo sometime soon. Thanks.

I would recommend going with a clutch that is tried and tested. I don't know any guys using the Fidanza. I'm not saying it's bad, it just doesn't have as much of a track record to go off of compared to others (at least that I'm aware of).

I've heard mixed things about the CFDF. The pedal feel is supposed to be very nice and it has smooth engagement (so I've been told). However there are reports of it not holding up very well to frequent launches although some guys have run very good times with it.

I have had an ACT 2100 previously and I am running the 2600 right now. The 2100 didn't hold up very well on my FWD. I love the 2600. Pedal is stiff but it grabs hard without chatter. The ACT's seem to be the most popular aftermarket DSM clutches. For the most part the track record has been good as far as holding up to abuse, especially the 2600.

Hopefully someone who is running the Fidanza will give input on their experience with it.
