ok i just rebuilt my whole engine and was going to hook up the coolent lines on my turbo. I noticed that i dont have a oil cooler so coolent goes through the oil filter housing and back up by my thermastat housing. So i have 2 coolent lines going up by the thermastat housing and i dont know what to hook them to because i got my head from a dsm with a oil cooler and it onley had one nipple on it.
I just put a T in there so the oil filter housing coolent line and the turbo return line conect to the one nipple on my thermastat housing. Do I need a different thermastat housing with two openings???

Does any one have a picture of how this is saposto hook up. or will my T in the lines work fine.

Im confused on which lines you are referring to. Is it the oil lines or the water coolant lines? Because without an oil cooler the only oil lines you will have is; the one oil return tube going back to the oil pan from the bottom of the turbo, and the oil feed line that you will either have coming off of the front passenger side of the head will run to the turbo or if you switched to running the line from the oil filter housing and it will run to the turbo also. And for water coolant lines there are two on the passenger side of the engine that run to the throttle body. There are also the two water coolant lines for the turbo which one comes from the big water pipe in front of the engine and the other will go from the turbo to the thermostat housing.

i have one coolent line coming from the oilfilter housing up behind the turbo pointing towrd the thermastat housing. I also have the coolent return from the turbo right beside it.

Just to make sure. Do you have an oil feed line coming off of the front passenger side of the head? If not than the line coming from the oil filter housing will be your oil feed line and that will connect to the top of your turbo. And the coolant hose coming from the big waterpipe running across the front of the engine will connect to the metal line coming out the bottom of your turbo.

yes this has nothing to do with my oil feed or return. let me try to make this a little clearer

I have a steel coolent line attatched to the block that connects to the oil filter housing it runs up right infront of the water pipe behind the turbo and ends right buy the coolent return by the nipple on the thermastat houseing.
I DO not have a oil cooler so coolent circulates through the oil filter housing to cool the oil. this is why I have the coolent lines going to the turmastat housing to return the coolent into the system.

I have two coolent returnes ware do I hook them too? There is only one nipple on the thermasat housing. One nipple two returns see my problem???
