running problems

i have a 93 tsi just bought it dont start has fuel and spark when i turn it over it sounds like it bubbles and pops will start once for like 2 secs then wont start again i think it could be timing or firing order what do you guys think it could be

Pull the plugs and see if they're fouled out. If they are get some new ones. If that isn't it, spray in some carb cleaner through the vaccum hose in the intake manifold and pulse it instead of a steady stream and see if you can get it running that way. Sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me, kinda what my car does when I let it sit for a couple weeks.

i tried carb and choke cleaner dint seem to do anything i havent checked the plugs but they are new
