I have an lm-1 wideband and the rpm converter. I've looked but I'm completely clueless how to install the converter on my 1g. Anyone have a how to or could help me out, it would be much appreciated.

Did you just get the converter by itself or did you get the inductive clamp as well?

You have to tap into your rpm wire if you did not go with the inductive clamp. If you got the clamp then you run it into you engine bay and clamp it on either one of the wires for the ignitor, or a sparkplug wire.

The inductive clamp would allow you to remove it easily if you ever wanted/needed to go from one car to another as well.

By itself I don't think I got the clamp. I'm new to cars so I'm learning as I go and became confused by the manual.

The clamp is something you have to add on extra to the rpm converter kit. Makes for easy install and removal but if your not worried about it then you can just hard wire yours up.

The converter has a spot for the aux ground, 4 other aux spots and then the wire to the rpm single wire.

Here is an ECU pinout diagram from the vfaqs that might help you out.
