Here is my current set up;
K&n
autometer boost gauge
joe P MBC @ 15psi
My goal is to max out the 14b since I am in a low budget and upgrading my turbo.. well that is really out of the question right now since money is tight.
My future set up;
3'' catback
2.0 longblock from kar king auto
Ported 14b
2100act clutch
190rewire fuel pump
I'm a little confuse on what size injectors will be oki?
All these will be install on my car around april/march (thank you taxes).
Now, my question is how does my set up look? is it going in the right track?

the car will be a DD, but a weekend warrior :thumb:
I really, and I hope to see 13's maybe on the high 12's will some slicks. The goal that i had plan on my car is to see 400whp, but what do you guys think? is that out of the question with the all mighty powerful 14b?:p

And of course all this will be tune by full fuction (ownz!) :dsm: :talon: :laser:

Back to do some more searching :rocks:

The 450's can hold you for awhile but 550's or larger are better of course. Fuel management is the key. Get something to control your fuel with and youll realize large gains. Get SAFC and a logger or dsmlink (best). Project goodwill still runs 450 injectors and is like in the 10's or 11's on the 14b (fwd). You should check em out. Sorry I dont have their link but you could search them they have threads all over.

Yeah i know about project goodwill, their amazing.
So,I will need a safc & dsmlink for fuel managment and have it tune.

Do not try to run 450's into the 10's even if someone else is doing it. IDC's will be crazy and it will just kill your injectors. I would go with 550's. Do not put in the injectors without a way to control them. SAFC/Logger would be a good idea also. I see you have your boost at 15psi. I would get a logger and make sure thats even safe. Most 1g's cant run more than 12psi without a little knock on a stock fuel curve.

You will not beable to make 400whp on the 14b, but 300whp can be achieved. I would add in FMIC, 2g maf, safc or custom chip. If you go with a custom chip I would get 750's. SAFC cant handle much more than 650's and they can even be tricky.

Cool, thanks jayrolla. i will do more searching on the fuel managment & i will lower my boost aswell.
So 300whp huh, eh.

It depends. You don't want to run too much boost on low octane fuel.

This is why you need to have an EMS. You have to monitor knock. If you run too much boost, you can predetonate and your engine is toast.

So there's no way to tell exactly how much boost you will be able to run. You'll know when you get your knock read.

So the set up will look something like this;
-K&n
-autometer boost gauge
-joe P MBC
-3'' turboback
-2.0 longblock from kar king auto
-Ported 14b
-2100act clutch
-190rewire fuel pump
-550cc RC injectors
-2g manifold ported
-safc
-FMI, question! will a denjon SMI do the job instead?
plus the gf will be getting me some strut bars for some better handling, thats a plus.
