I am to the point where I need help choosing the right cam setup for my strocker motor. What kind of of big setup can i go with without destroying my engine.
Also how thick of a head gasket should use to run any suggested cam setups.
Thanks for your input.

First off its stroker :thumb:. Second you have to ask yourself what you want outta the car. It depends on what turbo you want for wich cam you want to go with. There are alot of cams out there so when you decide on what you goal is for the car it'd be alot easier to decide which cam that will best suit your needs.

I am looking to start somewhere upwards of 400 hp. maybe a 50 trim turbo. I want to use something around 272 to 280 duration and between .400 and .422 lift. If I use a cam in this area can i run a .051" thick head gasket and not have the valves smash into my pistons, or do I need less lift out of the valves?
