My car has been misfiring badly lately. This happens whenever i begin boosting. It happens in all gears. When i punch the gas to the floor, the car goes nowhere, and i can hear the exhaust detonating very badly, it just hesistates a lot, and it misfires. So far i replaced the spark plugs, the CAS, the ignition module, i´ve checked for boost leaks. Im about to replace the coilpack. Im not tuned yet with an safc, and i have 550cc injectors, which worked perfectly for a long time before this problem started. I thought it could be rich knock, but thinking about it, my setup never showed knock even though i was rich. Ill swap the ECU tomorrow, and also try some other spark plug wires, but almost sure, that won´t help. This happens only when i punch the gas, and i try to boost, when im cruising around it just has a normal behavior. Any imput is greatly appreciated. :thumb:

could it be a TPS? O2 sensor? MAS?and the ECU check might be able to identify a little better. let us know how the new coil pack goes. thats all I can think of right now. maybe your turbo is not spooling? i am still a newb not only to this forum but to this motor also. but ask me about a 2.2 s10 and I could tell you almost anything.

The turbo is spooling, i can hear it, and i can see it, in the boost gauge as well. This hesistation, has to be something related to fuel or ignition.

I'm also having the exact same problem. I pulled a code 44 dealing with the coil, power transistor, etc. I've check the coil pack and the resistance is within spec, new plugs, wires, cleaned fuel injectors, checked for vac leaks. If anyone can chime in that would be great.
