Ok guys, I didnt think I was going to need help deciding this one but i've been thinking on it for a few days and I CAN'T do it alone.

I only have 200 to spend at this point in time.
I have the opportunity to buy a parts car with a 4 bolt rear end for 200 and I can probably sell the rest of the car and make my money back. My goals are around 400 hp and low 11's.
I'm almost 100% sure i'll need this rear end eventually...

If I dont buy the parts car there are other things I need to finish my project...like a gasket kit. I need to assemble my build motor and install it still...
I'm trying to look into the future a little bit. Plan for whats next ya know?
Even IF I get the gasket kit I still NEED arp head studs to completely finish the project.

Anyways, I need both items and I dont need the car running until June so...no rush honestly.
Let me know what yall think...

If you feel you can make your money back then I would say no brainer to get the parts car, because if you make your money back you still have the $200 to spend on the new gasket kit :)

Thats exactly what I was thinking though suprisingly i've had alot of people tell me to just finish the project at hand....ahem FLASH!

I would get the parts car. You can always get gaskets and studs but how often are you going to find a parts car with the rearend you want for $200? Not very often.

Parts car. That would be the smart investment. Then resell the stuff you don't need.
