OK so i have no idea whats going on with my car here.............OK so My car has been "tugging" a lot under WOT lately...........so i did a boost leak test and found a MAJOR leak somewhere under/around the intake manifold/throttle body........It seems to be below because I sprayed soapy water and didnt see anything from up top.................Now the other day my clutch was being a bit weird(too much free play in the pedal) so i adjusted the clutch pedal travel so its less................now my car doesent really tug at all and when i do a boost leak test now its barely leaking out in that same spot compared to before....also my car is boosting/holding boost now a little better then before(but still not perfect)
I have no idea whats going on.............Im thinking mabe its something to do with the brake line that is hooked up to the underside down there? because i assume it would have an effect on the hydraulic clutch system....................any help would be appreciated!

A few things: As you do the boost leak test, spray the soapy water everywhere, not just where you hear hissing. It's entirely possible that your intake manifold is leaking. If there's a hose under the intake mani that's leaking, it may have a hole in it, or is loose off it's nipple.

Also, are you letting your car warm up completely before driving? What plugs and wires are you using? Any other issues that we should know about?

If you did the boost leak test while the car was cold then its possible that the leak sealed up some after being warmed up. Parts expand and contract with heat and cold.

i think it is the intake manifold gasket leaking...........I believe the clutch thing was just a fluke or something..........Im gonna replace it today and hopefully it will be good to go:thumb:
