I am thinking of putting a cat on my thermal exhaust. Right now it is straight pipe but the cops are starting to get ticket happy. Is there much loss with putting on a cat? I think I'm going to the magnaflow high flow 3". I've had some reviews on the magnaflow cat and people seem to like it, whats your opinion?

Technically, a car with no cat is for off-road use only. ;)

Of course, a car with a high flow cat is not a car without a car. The car will still have more power than having the stock restrictive cat on. With the test-pipe or no cat, you'll only loose maybe 2-5 hp maybe, compared to the high flow cat. Not very noticeable.

I would put the high flow cat on if you if you feel the local fuzz breathing down your neck. Save yourself a ticket and the time from having to go fight it. :thumb:
