Just bought a 91 turbo talon with new jdm motor and tranny. While i was driving it home it started to leak tranny fluid and would no longer go into 1st 2nd 4th or reverse. Got it into 3rd and then got back on the freeway popped it into 5th and made it home (ALMOST). Got a block from my house and a cable snapped and it was now stuck in third gear and the shifter jiggled like jello. I took apart the center counsel and found that a cable connecting to the shifter by a pin was appeared to be stretched and rubber was stuck in the whole and the stiff cable was exposed. The car wont come out of gear i have no idea what i need to do (this car was switched from an automatic to a manual 5 speed by previous owner)
CAN ANYONE HELP!!!

Can you take pictures of the shift cables in the console? Also take pictures of the shift cables under the hood where they are attached to the arms on the transmission. You can manually move the arms with your hands to put it in neutral if you really need to. Take pictures and post back up.

Sorry the car went to a shop amazingly got it onto a flat bed in third gear had to get a running start to get it on but i was just wondering if anyone experienced this and that the new how much i'm going to be out thanks buddy.:thumb:
