New upper piping WEIRD SOUND(BOV?)

Hi I have a 98 eclipse gst. I had a 1g bov on my stock upper intercooler pipe by way of an adapter. Anyway, I just got new uppercooler piping and am still using the 1g bov. now after I accelerate, and I let go of the gas pedal,I hear kinda like a fart. Is that the BOV? Why didn't i hear it before I had the new piping? Thanks. Tom

are you sure that's what it sounds like? it should sound like a psssh type of noise
