Tomorow i will take my 97 GST to the dyno to test and tune for my new setup. My car had minor mods before january , but i installed all these parts last month.

Turbonetics T3 Manifold
Turbonetics evolution W/G
Garrett TO4S .70 A/R 60-1 .63 exh. stage 3 Turbo
Custom mandrell bend 3 inch downpie and exhaust with very minimal bends. (less than the apex N1 no cat no nothing)
Custom 2.5 inch intercooler pipe from turbo to intercooler.
28X12X3 intercooler
Custom 3 inch tinercooler pipes from intercooler to T/B
HKS SSQV blow off valve
GM 3 inch sensor with Translator
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
-8an fuel line from tank to engine
-6an fuel line from engine to tank
Aeromotive 1@1 fuel pressure regulator
Presicion T&E 880cc injectors
Adjustable cam gears
Unorthodox underdrive pulley
Magnecore ignition wires
NGK BPR8ES spark Plugs
Apexi AVCR boost Controler
and last but no least DSMLINK

The rest of the engine is Bone stock, from the throttle body all the way down to the crank, Still have 149K miles from factory, The engine is in good contidions, No overheating problems, oil leak problems, compression all the way 185psi on all 4 cyl. and it dosnt smoke. I was well inspected by me and a mechanic friend.

It also has stock clutch and flywheel. I got but not intalled fidanza flywheel and ACT 2600kit.

Im loking for 325plus whp, i know that my setup is capable of more. im going with 93 oct fuel, But i dont know how much psi can i safely go to my first visit to the dyno. I was thinking between 16 to 18 psi. but i dont know if i can get at least 301whp with this amount. I was also thinking on tuning the wide band at 11.2 to 11.4 range, obiously no KNOCK but dont know at what ign. timing these cars perform better. Please need advice on tuning, Should i tune AFR fist, or what, whtas the best procedure to tune.

thanks

If it's the dyno number you're after - go with the safety factor. Torco or high octane fuel if you think it's at the limit of what that car can do.

I think that's real good for 13psi. How's the clutch holding up?

I'm planning on going to the dyno sometime in the near future and see what my 50trim puts down at 20psi. At least i know i'll be over 300 hp :p

Yeah you should be over 300 easly.

To bad i just made only 2 runs, cant wait to se that 60-1 at 20PSi.
maybe getting closer to 400whp?

Did you install your new clutch yet. You just said you were at 286fpt at 13psi. I would install a new clutch before i went again.

Ok so i went to the dyno and i only made 2 runs because the dyno computer has having problems

309whp at 13psi. 286tq.

what do you think?

Very nice numbers. I would not go any higher till you get a clutch. That stocker will not hold up for long. Any more power will cause it to slip if its not already. So where did you purchase your gerrett.

yes it still has stock clutch.
I bought the turbo at a local speed shop in puerto rico
$650
i will install the 2600 kit with thye fidanza flywheel for next time.
how much hp should i get at 18 psi??

Wow! very nice numbers for 13 psi! sorry, I just got a little excited and decided to post! SUCKS ### I JUST SOLD MY 60-1 to a lucky dude on dsmtuners, 650 shipped..I still have it sitting in my living room, waiting till the morning to ship it! I should have installed it on my car.. but oh well, I'm going to dyno soon, w/ my "custom" 18G/15 degree clipped TD05 turbine wheel, stuffed in a GT ported housing.. ::sigh:: I hope I get good numbers @ 20 psi of boost, I'm not gonna fool myself though, so I'm not expecting much. Take care, and good luck on your next dyno run! wow!

LOL... well you get the nice cold intake air temperatures.... :thumb:

Its not like you think. In the winter its to damn cold and retuning is needed. In the summer its up around 90* so we get both sides. At least where you live the weather stay's close to the same. Not to mention we lose LOTS of power up here. Ive seen the same car run almost 1 sec. faster at sea level than up here.

Were I live is less than 10ft from the sea level, our tropical weather changes dramaticaly, today you can have 80deg tomorow 100. I haven't upgraded my clutch yet cus im a engineering student and i dont have much free time, next saturday 31'st, theres a dyno contest on my area and i will take my car to 20psi if the clutch holds, so i will keep you updated.

80* to 100* is not a huge change. Here it can be 15* and the next day 60-70*. Or in summer it can go from 40* to 80-100* the next day. Now thats crazy.
