Pulling Cruise Control

i'm curious on how to pull the cruis control off of a 2g. i know on the 1g's you could just replace the throttle cable with one from a car without CC, but... i dont know of any 2g's that didnt come with it. So will a 1g cable work? i know it can be done and i'd like to do it soon so i remove it and open up the engine bay...

I believe that there is a thread in hear already. If not, you can call the dealer. They can order one for you. Just tell them that you want the non-cruise control throttle cable for 2g eclipse (Turbo). I am using the same cable. I apologize for not posting a part number. I don't have it anymore.
