Some of you may know me for my questions I ask about boost. This morning I woke up and realized that If I'm gonna boost a n/t turbo motor, why not boost one in better condition and with more power. So my question is can I/what do I need to swap a DOHC Galant motor into my car. I dont know the engine code but it came in the 94-98 Galants. I know its probably easier to just swap a turbo motor but I dont want to do that.

Will it bolt up to my tranny?
I would need the ecu?
Mounts in same locations?

Now I used to have a Galant so I know it fairly easy to boost those motors too. I just want to do something different.

Why not just buy a rebuilt turbo longblock for like 1200? Then you can be sure it fits and it will be able to handle the turbo...

Nah I really wanna do something different and I could get a complete galant motor for 600.

I think I may have found what I need by searching, the motor code is 4g64, that helped my search.

Really can't find any conclusive info by searching. No one knows if the motor will mount to my tranny and are the mounts in the correct place?
