Im painting the hood and headlight of my 91 eclipse and I have it primed. I wet sanded it with 400, then dry sanded it with 1000 then 1500. Will the paint adhere or will there be a problem? Before I put the regular paint on how should i sand it differently or will my way work???

If is was me I wouldn't do that. The first step you would wanna do is dry sand it down with 320 grit then go back over it with 600 wet sanding it just lightly finger tip it. I have been painting for a long time now and have worked at a body shop you should check out my myspace page i have lots of pics of my eclipse that i painted about 6 months ago check it its http://www.myspace.com/matt98eclipse

Hope everything goes well. If any more questions just ask.
