Hey guys you all have been a huge help!!!! I have yet another question about my car everytime I stop at a redlight or have to come to a complete stop pretty quick my car dies. I can start it right back up but if I push the clutch in to stop it dies it seems If I but it in neutral it doesn't die near as much. Also when it does this my air fuels are reading really lean on the wideband is this normal and what can I check for? Thanks Also when my car is jut idlling my air fuels are lean. I don't know if this would cause it or not but those little clilps that hold your plug to your injector are missing on a few of my injectors the guy that installed the engine must have lost them;(

zip tie the clips down frist i could have something to do with it there try checking isc or tps make sure the conntions are good and and you get the right reading on them too

Sorry to wake up an old thread but im hving this same exact problem, any ideas anyone except for the ones listed above? ( LOL i even have an injector missing a clip) any help would be awesome :rocks:

-thanks

I have more knock at idle then while im driving..as in idle = knock is all over the board and IS NOT steady vs driving and knock = ZERO

Check for a vacuum leak, it's gotta be a pretty big leak if it'll stall your car when you slam the throttle shut. I'd check the PCV hose and the brake booster hose.

Your car should be running pretty lean at idle, but obviously it shouldn't be so lean that it turns off. I've had it happen to my car a few times, it's usually after i drive it hard and then come to a stop.
