As the title says, I am trying to put together for my records a fairly complete list of parts for a 2G 7-bolt rebuild that will yeild a near new and reliable engine that is good to ~ 350 crank HP. Let me know any changes, oppinions or corrections.

Looks to be a fairly good list. My only suggestion is that if you estimate $2K for the build, is that you have ~3K on hand to take care of any items that you forgot, didn't think of, or decide to change/upgrade as you go along. Plans change after you actually start talking to a builder and sometimes things cost more than you first thought, or you might decide to go in a different direction.

My wife has learned over the years that if I tell her it will cost $1 to fix something, I usually end up spending $1.50 to complete the job. During the process I always seem to find something I don't like or didn't know about and want to replace it and the cost just seems to escalate every time. Take the Eclipse, I thought the last major project could be done for around $5K, after it was done my anal ass ended up spending right at $8K to complete. The bad thing is that I could have spent another $2K on it, if it was left only to me, but my wife was starting to get pissed off about it.
