Ok so I drove to my friends house today. Transmission seemed completely fine lately no problems..even on ride over. I get there...come back out later and it's really hard to put into gear. However I manage to drive it all the way to another house. Then it would not go into gear at all with the car on. It would go into gear with the car off, however would stall if you tried to turn it on when it was in gear. Also the clutch pedal is very limp and loose. I checked the clutch fluid, my friend told me it should be full to the cap. I didn't see any in there at all. Therefore he said its probably the slave/master cylinder. I just wanted to hear your guys' thoughts on it..thanks

Also..whatever you might think it is let me know how much in labor it would be to have a mechanic do it. thanks guys

Look for leaks around the master cylinder, back around the fire wall, to the passenger side of the car and then to the transmission. If you cannot find any, its possible that you will need to add more brake fluid to the master and bleed the system.

I would also check the slave cylinder. Pull back the rubber boot and if there's fluid there, it's shot.
It sounds like a clutch issue since you can shift into gear with the car off. Try adjusting the clutch engagement and bleeding the clutch some more.

alright good news...it was just the gasket for the clutch fluid that was blown...so a lot less money than i thought...thanks for the advice anyways
