hey guys I was wondering if anyone of you guys had any experience with the omni street coilovers for 2g eclipse. info on handling characteristics ride quality. I live in Los angeles i use my car on the weekends to go out and wondering if these would be super stiff to be driving on 405 freeway which is a crap freeway. Im kinda deciding between this omni kit or even tein basics. ive researched the tein basics there spring rates are less than omni but i dont know if tein basics can give me the drop i might want and the omni say they can do 0-4 inches. the reason i dont know if the teins might work for me is because i have 17 inch wheels with a 45 profile and not seen any pics of 2g dsms with tein basics and 17 inch wheels all the pics that i have seen are with at least 18 inch wheels. If you guys can help me out i would really appreciate it thanks.

I have have bad experiences with coil overs. Especially on the freeways out here. One set I had busted the lower perch on one of the rear struts while I was driving. So I had to do repair work in the parking lot of a gas station just to get the car home.
