Hey there guys I have a problem with my car starting on cold morning's. I have replaced the coolant temp sensor and I still get the same code on my pocketlogger telling me the cts is bad. However the wires in the area for the a/c switch and the sensor were broke off so I kinda guessed at which wire wen't where can somone please post some close up pics of which wire goes where in this area and which one is indeed the cts. Once I keep cranking the car it finally hits and starts then dies if I keep it up it eventually starts right up. Thanks, Dewayne

Your poor start issues may not be related to the coolant temp. sensor. I would start with the simplest things first: check battery charge, condition of plugs and wires, good electrical connections (esp. ground wires) between battery/starter, vacuum leaks, etc. How does it run once you do get it started?

What is your coolant temperature reading on the logger? I'm not sure what you mean by "AC switch" but the ECT is located at the thermostate housing like travunder posted. There are two sensors on the thermostate housing, the sensor with just one wire is the sensor for you dash gauge, the one with 2 wires is the ECT which goes to your ECU. The sensor under the radiator, the one I think you were talking about, is just for switching on the cooling fans.
