I have a set of 680cc and i'm about to order a dsmchip for my eprom. Is that too much for a stock car? I plan on getting a bb50 trim in about 2 months but i want the car to runas fast as it can now,and run right.

As long as you are getting compensation for them through the chip, you should be fine. But don't plan on boosting high until you have a fuel pump and other supporting mods.

The 680's will be fine, I would still recomend an afc to fine tune the mixture after the chip install. As far as the fuel pressure regulator, its recomended not required with a fuel pump, I have 680's and a walbro with no regulator and it runs just fine. I also know several other people that are not using an adjustable regulator without any issure. The
walbro pump only bumps pressure up about 5psi with the stock regulator.

I was under the impression you were able to mess with your fuel settings with DSMlink, no?
