Opinons On Ebay Turbokit

Before people start saying use the "search" button, i would search but this is the first time i have seen this kit on Ebay. What do you guys think about this kit, turbo, fmic, and bov

Looks to me like it is missing some I/C piping and couplers. But for the price why not try it out. The turbo being used is the EVO 3 GT turbo and the "greddy" BOV is definatly a fake. The couplers don't look like they will last long but for the price you get the GT turbo and a FMIC. seems okay to me for the price.

I'm somewhat skeptical about that kit. I had seen it before myself and thought "Hot damn, thats a deal!", but then I started to realize the deal is a little too good. I mean $620 for an Evo III turbo and a FMIC kit? Yeah, too good to be true. My guess is that it's a knock off version of the Evo III, and that it wont last for shit.

I have no problem buying parts off ebay (exhaust, intake, FMIC), but parts I won't buy are critical engine parts, like a turbo. That just scares me.

Don't do it, that's definitely not a mitsubishi 16g, its just some knockoff that will fall apart. You're better off looking for a nice used turbo and buy an ic kit, the price is going to be a little more but it will last. Piping and stuff is fine and well to buy off ebay, but mechanical no-name parts I wouldn't trust.

please dont buy it , the turbo lasts for about 1000miles trust me i have one laying in my garage , i just bought brand new MHI big16g Genuine an no problems. All parts are cheap in the kit , the piping is thin and bends it you tight it really good , the bov will probably leak , intercooler could have leaks also (you can weld them) , couplers are crap (trust me) ,i dont see J pipe in the kit , the clamps are decent sometimes brake when tied good, Oil feed line is bad , because it connects from the head and gets old oil , and you need SS one that come from the oil filter (with fresh new filtered oil) , your missing some ic piping also . the bolts i got with the similiar kit , didnt fit because they werent metric . I could go on and on , just please dont buy it ( save some time and money for yourself) Brand name , genuine, parts are the only ones that will get you going with no problem.
