I am currently an owner of a 1995 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. Which is currently stock from the intake all the way to the muffler. Sooooo.... I have a challenge for the DSM community im looking for builds for my car. Im want to be making somewhere around 600 hp very safetly which means all of the necessary upgrades(engine, transmission, turbo, transfer case, fuel, ect..) In about a week I will take all the designs here and post them on another Poll Thread whoever gets their design chosen will get 10$. I know kinda a corny gift but nice to get no less..

Thanks adamsdarin

As was stated, unless you're actually asking a question, for which you can't find an answer, this should probably be in the "hangout" you could go to the dyno sheets section, find cars that have the approx. HP you want, then view their mods. That'd be a start... That, and actually researching everything that is going to be involved, to include the actual tuning, and other necessary knowledge you'll need to achieve such a lofty goal. And, unless you're loaded, you should probably start out with smaller goals and build progressively to something achievable. I'd like about 625AWHP too, but for now, i'm shooting for 350, when I get that, I'll shoot for 500, then 625. Otherwise you're going to dump a LOT of money into this thing for a while and just be disappointed. -my $.04 (better than just .02)

Good luck. :thumb:

Well you are shooting for a damn high number for being a stock car. Remember that you are looking to get over 3 times the original output out of your car, when you have no idea how difficult it is.
You better research how to do a setup that is capable of 750+whp if you want to run 600whp conservatively.

If you are looking for us to build your car for you, you better know what the hell you are going to do for parts before asking us.

Research:
EVERYTHING

Engine
Head
Transmission
Fuel
Engine management
Intake
Exhaust
Turbo
Suspension
Brakes
Drivetrain (Transmission, clutch/flywheel, etc.)
FMIC's...

If you intend on having a shop doing this for you, you will be EXPECTING at least a $20,000+ build. Remember what you are asking to do.

After you actually research for a while (months), come back with a specific part list of what YOU WANT, not what we want, and we will give you constructive criticism on what you need, don't need, etc.

After all of that, then you should start pricing out all the parts you selected through SEVERAL vendors, along with asking us questions about the vendors, only AFTER going through vendor reviews if you have further questions that were not answered.

I don't give a damn if you are offering $10. My advice is free. It is your money, and if you start buying shit without researching, you are wasting a heck of alot more than $10 on your mistakes.

Keep your $10. You are going to need it more than myself. I have already done what you are looking to do. It took me more than 4 years of DEDICATED hard work, research, and HANDS ON EXPERIENCE to get my car to 600+WHP. Along the way, I know I have spent at least $25,000 on broken transmissions (I am on my 10th race tranny), several setup changes, etc. I know for a fact that I am well over $100K in time, research and development, parts, and my blood, sweat, and tears.

Expect to be broke for a long time if you own a DSM, and want to go fast.

Hmm, well since you don't want to do any of the legwork yourself, just go to slowboyracing.com and buy a stroker longblock, buy the additional stuff you need, and buy a large laggy turbo.

Otherwise, you'll likely have to take a look at what you'd want as far as internals, head-work, cams, transmission upgrades, fuel upgrades, turbo upgrades, and a whole lotta other upgrades. 600WHP isn't something people just do right out of the gate with no research.
