I wanted to know if there was a mechaniacal disadvantage between a manual transmission and and an automatic transmission? Does 1 go faster, or does 1 just shift better than the other? And why does this happen.

Most of the time everyone will tell you that the manual will be able to put more power down to the ground, and the automatics just suck.
