I was looking yesterday to see if i could set up my ignition timing. To my disgrace, i found that there was no timing tab. The one that has values of 5-10-15. Is there any way i can set it up without that timing tab? if i need one for sure, where can i get one? thanks.

The only way that I can think of is to find top dead center on the number one cylinder, that would be the 0. Mark that on the timing cover and get one of the more expensive timing guns that you can dial in the timing you want. With those guns you can set your timing at say 5deg(on the gun), and then just line the timing mark on the crank pully back up with the 0deg mark that you made on the cover. It would be cheaper to get another timing cover with the tab on it but more work would be involved. Good luck
