Please help!!!90 Talon turbo motor in 94 1.8 Eclipse swap

I am attempting to put a 90 Talon turbo motor in my 94 Eclipse that had a 1.8 in it. Both cars had manual transmission . I have changed over the instrument cluster, complete engine with the wiring harness, and computer from the Talon. I am able to get the engine to turn over but I have no ignition. The check engine light does not come on with ignition power. I have checked that the ecu is getting ignition power to it and that the ecu has it's grounds. I am not sure what wiring could be different or if I have a different problem. Any information would be of great help right now. I have rebuilt the motor and transaxle before installing and am desperate to get this thing running.
 
get a shop manual... they have schematics in there for everything... BUT DO NOT GET A ****** HAYNES MANUAL... They were cool for cars that I already knew like the back of me hand just to look up torque specs and electrical BS... but any other manual will cover it better than haynes...

Your lucky you are in texas... they wont let us swap a motor in that is older than the car and a different OBD.... Green states suck... haha
 
I dont know about your ignition problem, check your fuses and connections but something I can tell you though which is irrelevant to ign is that
your probably going to have to change out your master/slave cylinder because the turbo ones are a little different ( different reach). Also the 1.8s radiator is smaller put the turbo models radiator, and your using the complete talon wireing harness?
You have the knock sensor hooked up and injector resistor pack hooked up?
Are you using the turbo cars mas air sensor? Its different, it has 7 wires instead of the n/ts 6 wires. Are you using the talons starter? ( Just going over some things pertaining to your swap )

Once you get it running correctly you wont regret your hard work, the 1.8s are a complete joke i have a friend with one and I drove it on a 1st and 2nd gear pull and immediately got out the car and handed him his keys back..... Felt like I couldve went faster on foot. LOL
 
It runs. Using one of the schematics I printed out and the Chilton manual I bought I found that one of the MPI relay coils was bad and not suppling voltage to two of the pins on the ECU which kept the ecu from being powered and giving the check engine light its ground . Thank you everyone very much for helping me out.
