last night i was coming home, and i took a left turn at a decent speed..not punching it but not slow and i hear a clunk. Since then every time i downshift it sounds like a loud clunking from my transmission like a rapid clunking. I chancged my trans fluid and oil today, but im still getting this sound. Any ideas?

Is the clutch disengaging all the way? Are you rough with it, or are you gentle when you switch gears? Big difference for me when I'm gentle with it.
When you're at a stop, and you put it into gear, do you hear this clunking sound?

no, im gentile when shifting. but its only when switching gears. im thinking it might be a cv joint

Deff sounds like axle. My friend had this same thing with his SRT-4 twice!! Sounded like a huge clunk from the wheelwell and it did get louder as he left it. Finally he took it into his work (jeep dealership) and found out the axle was broke!

now its hard to turn the wheel when im moving slowly, along with clunking and a chatter from the center of the engine bay

You are describing that you have heard the click when decelerating and also turning left. If you hear a clicking while turning to the left, then most likely your right outer joint is bad. If you you hear a noise while accerlerating in a strait line, then it means that you most likely have a bad inner joint on which ever side you hear the sound on. I personally have never heard a a joint click while decelerating, but yours might be. So you either have 1 or probably 2 bad joints, or you have a different problem all together.

ok, so i put that sumbitch up on some jackstands and i figured out that my struts are so blown that im bottoming out and my axles are hitting the ends of my front swaybar.

it seems that the axles have rubbed the ends of my front sway but this isnt the problem, it still makes noise when i run it up on a lift. my axles are NOT bent either so i dont know what it could be. sounds like its coming from my t-case
