I have been doing tons of research about camber and camber kits and still don't know which is right for me. This will be my set up.

-18x8 hp evos
-eibach sportlines

I am getting my speed shop put on the springs so I need a kit to go with them. There are some kits out there are give a range of adjustment. I thought RRE would be the best but I really don't know any more.

Thanks a lot for all your help.

With sportlines you will be running into severe limitations on how far you can adjust your camber. If you looked closely on RRE's website you'd notice that you really need coilovers to truly make camber plates worth your money. Otherwise the spring hits the strut housing and you loose most of the adjustment.

I hope you'll be running Koni yellows with those springs and not KYB AGXs. You'll blow AGX's in a heartbeat with a 2" drop. I know, I did it once. A 1" drop with prokit springs will hold up well. The Yellows give you the extra inch of strut travel you'll need for sportlines.

:p You're right, it isn't. Go sell those springs and get a set of struts or use the money you were spending on camber plates and buy struts. The ride will be horrible with just stiff springs. You'll hate driving your car and that isn't woth the good looks. Plus you will get more performance out of a good set of struts than you will out of camber plates. This is a tricky and expensive game to get involved in. You should do it right the first time. :thumb:

If you choose to sell those and start over and don't want to get coilovers because you'll have to sell your sole for 30k to buy some. My set up is perfect..(H&R springs-2" drop), Tokico Illumina Shocks and an Engalls camber kit. If it matters I've got the same size wheels as you, Motegi FF7's with Toyo Proxe 4.

Camber plates are for 1g's and don't work on 2g's. He'll need adjustable ball joints or cam bushings.

Sorry for thread jacking...

I've been reading up on this and I'm still a little confused. I've got Tein Flex full coilovers. I didn't notice any struts while I was down installing the coilovers at all. I know that the spring and shock is bascially what a coilover is. Is there anything I need to add to make it a better ride overall then?

Thanks
Howie~

You're okay. It's not usually good when 1g guys and 2g guys try to have a combined discussion about suspensions; the two are completely different. 1g suspensions have McPherson struts, 2g's do not, nor do they have anything that is commonly referred to as a strut.
