Hey guys i have two questions. My first is that when i turn my car on sometimes i like hear the valves knocking then it goes away after a while, then sometimes comes back. I dont know what can it be i have oil and everything, and it comes and goes when it wants too. Second question is that i just bought a set of Arospeed coilovers they say its for my car on the box and everything but when i went to go put them on they didnt fit, like the coil goes in but i have to compress it to put on the top plate and screw, and coil overs have to be loose thats the whole point idk what to do. Any info appreciated, anyone with these coilovers any intake on this please its driving me crazy. Thanks............DSM 4 life :talon:

the knocking is most likely lifter tick
it is pretty common in these engines

i used Lucas oil treatment in mine and the tick went away

The ticking is your lifters, oil pressure dosn't build up right off the bat in a DSM.
As for your coilovers, if they don't fit then you got the wrong ones.

do you have pics of the coilovers ? if so try to post them. we should be able to see if they are right or not.

ticking is what everyone else is saying.

Depends on the style of the coil over. Some only adjust from stock height, if you have them all the way up (stock height), a spring compressor will be required. Some actually adjust higher than stock, again, if they're set too high a compressor will be required.

It's as simple as adjusting the coil overs down before installation so a compressor will not be required.
