I am about to buy a ACT 2600 Pressure plate. The place i am buying it (local) buying the parts separate its cheaper and i need to decide on witch clutch disk is better for me?
Im looking for 400whp now, in about a year or maybe less will be closer to 500whp
ACT Street Disk or 6Puck disk?
The 6 puck one is even cheaper than the Street one.
Why is everybody using the street one even at over 400hp?
Whats wrong with the 6 puck? too heavy? Not streetable friendly?
Whats the diferance in these two into hurting my transmission?

The street disc will allow you to slip the clutch easier and should be a little easier on everything for that reason. A 6 puck disc will engage more harshly. I'm thinking that, with FWD especially, you'll want the street.

I should say that I run a 6 puck disk and don't mind it. There is a little chatter engaging first if I am sloppy, but it's not a big problem.

street all the way.... you're FWD so you're goign to have to slip the clutch like a bi*** off the lien to keep as much traction as possible. With the 6 puck its extremely hard to slip the clutch becuase there just isn't any "given play" to have with that disc..
