is doubling up the exhaust manifold gasket a good idea if some of my bolts are broke off
 
nope. get soem ezouts and drill out the broken off studs. be careful though since a few of them will go right into oil galleys if you drill too far
 
One of mine is off and I didn't double it and it does nto leak. Felpro seems to be the best gasket for it in my opinion, those metal ones they include with some of the kits I hate. I did have to double the gasket where the dp bolts to the o2 housing so it would not leak.
 
Drill 'em out and replace them with a nut / bolt set up instead of the stud / nut combination. Drilling them is not hard and the nuts and bolts you probably already have.
