i have a 90 laser with a 4g67 turbo and i just put a brand new battery from work (autozone) in there because my optima bit it. but i think my car killed it because even with the new battery, it starts up fine when its fully charged but theres barely enough life left in the battery to crank it over if it sits overnight. i have a boost guage wired to the headlights and an a/f guage to the cigarette lighter. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You could also be drawing power from the battery while it is off, do you have a sound system still connected, alaram at the batter, etc?

Check for shorts/open wires at any point. I have a power wire going to my amp for my car stereo and had a single strand or so of copper hanging out of a fuse connection that was rubbing up against the frame and causing my battery to die.

Check the wires coming from the battery from under the hood and any auxiliary wires that were hooked up by you or not OEM....

you def. have a drain... i would first check the your wiring of your gauges to make sure you dont have any loose wires. Also make your your alt is charging.. I had one go bad and the bat light never came on. hope this helps

i have seen bad alternators do that. an internal diode could be bad causing problems. i had this problem with mine a few years ago.
