hey guys. i thinks this has been asked lots before but i cannot find one that has everything listed...
i have a s16g turbo and a 95 TSi. I already have a 1g j pipe (i have read i can use this and just turn the LICP around)-from hombrew install kit article.
I know I need a SS oil feed line. how hard is that to do? and the coolant lines... i have read you have to bend them... cant i just use 1g coolant lines? or what exactly do i have to do on the coolant lines? and file the oil return right? any help is greatly appreciated!! thanks for reading!

Just buy the 2g install kit, most dsm stores that deal with performance sell them. Be sure to get the upgraded ss lines isntead of hard lines, it is worth it.

i dont have too much money now so i figured i would just do it the hombrew article way... so i just need the SS oil feed line yet. can i just use 1g coolant lines instead of bending mine?

Where is the homebrew article? I might be interested in just making my own.

I tried using 1G coolant lines that I had lying around one time and I found it to be easier to just bend the 2G lines. Use a skinny screw driver, stick it inside the line and bend it with the screw driver. I have found that to work best for me in the past.

Yes 2g coolant lines work best, i tried with the 1g but the 2g just fit better actually. Make sure you test fit and bend them right, I had to do it a few times to get the turbo to bolt up to the manifold. The ss oil line is all you really need, the return like off a 1g works well if you don't want to file away the holes. The j-pipe is pretty BAD, there was barely enough material and it was so kinked and leaked, best thing to do is get a nice 2.5" exhaust tubing 90" elbow, and make your own out of that and cut the licp to fit the ends. Works much better and looks halfway decent.
