Boost gauge reads nothing? Air fuel bounces!

Why is it that my boost guage isint working? I have it all wired up to a 12v soucre. It lights up and everything but it isin't moving I connected the vacume hose and T clamp into the wire that goes to the fuel cell, and the manifold? My air fuel gauge bounces from lean to rich? I have that tapped into the front 02 sensor under the passanger pannel. Should it connect to the rear o2 sensor?

sounds like the air fuel gauge is working right then cause thats about all they do it bounce around and as far as the boost gauge you should try and find a better boost pressure source to tap into

The boost gauge shouldn't be tapped into any "wires" on anything for a pressure signal. I think you mean "hose". In that case, you need to tap the vaccuum hose between the Fuel Pressure Solenoid and the Intake Manifold.

The hose you're tapping is the one on the left, with no blue stripe.

The A/F ratio gauge is using a narrowband O2 sensor signal, as opposed to a wideband signal. A narrowband A/F gauge is basically useless except for telling you that the O2 sensor is "working" as opposed to "dead". Most everyone on here just calls it the blinky-light show. Oscillating back and forth from lean to rich is standard operating procedure for it, except for WOT.

Like he said the air fuel gauge will bounce around unless your WOT, then it should leve out. Most likely you kinked the vaccuum line when installing so its not getting any reading. Take the vaccuum line out and check it.

Yeah for my boost I tapped into the one on the left with no stripe..this is correct? It must have a kink then ill take a look at it.
