I was looking online and found this sweet little number and was wondering if it was any good? I know that you cannot lower the pressure lower than25 psi with it but your fuel pressure shouldnt be that low anyway right. I was just wondering if its worth the 30 bucks ### im cheap and dont ### to spend like 150 on an aeromotive.

NO!!!!!
Don't believe in that 25psi crap, it will be overruned as bad as a stocker will because it's an add on piece to the stocker therefore the restriction remains the return orifice on the stocker. This is why its proper name is "modifier", not "regulator".

I would save up and get the Aeromotive, fuel components aren't something you should cheap out on.

like said before it is junk. The reason you want an adjustable fpr with a bigger pump is to turn the pressure back down to stock. Because the fuel pump increases pressure since the stock regulator can't bypass enough fuel. And like Oldman said the B&M doesn't stop the restriction that the stock regulator creates.

Ok I see now. Ill be looking into a nice setup. Also what does rewireing the FP do.

Rewiring the fuel pump keeps the voltage to the pump up. So since the voltage is higher it is going to flow more fuel. I have no experiance with any megan parts. I have an aeromotive regulator. And also have experiance with the Buschur bolt on regulator.

not sure on the price but id look for a charge air racing/full throttle bolt on afpr. looks like a beefed up stock unit and you dont need to run ss lines or remote mount a regulator anywhere

Ok who sells them so I can take a peek. Also is pockter logger any good again I found one in the class. for cheap. Im new to the DSm scene and trying to do my car right.

Yeah you should have some sort of a logger. I never bought one because I decided to just buy dsmlink which has a logging function in it. But you deffinately want some sort of one to make sure you are not hurting anything and get it tuned properly.

so would my car run better and pull harder than it already does? It already pulls like a train.

If you don't have a logger, how did you tune for them 550s?

I would say its out of tune seeing how it blows black smoke out the exhaust.
I would also look for boost leaks.

Then you need to buy some sort of logger to tune the car correctly. And you should see some sort of gain or the car running better.
