I'm going to have to get a camber kit to help with the alignement becuase I have a lot of toe. I took it to the shop and they said that they don't think wtih just an alignement that they would be able to get rid of the toe problems. Since I have lowered my car, it has ate all the way across my rear tires and they are completely bald now.

My question is what would you guys suggest for me to be able to get rid of the problem? I was looking at extremepsi at their camber kits and Ingals are the only things for the 95-99's. Which one for the rear should I get? There are like twenty of them.

The car is used as a DD, that see's occasional drag, occasional autox, very very spirited daily driving, and very often mountain road blasts... I don't need anything for the front, it was only the rear that was thrown off extremely bad. Thanks.

just go to the dealer and get the ORIGINAL Camber Kit for the 95-00 Galant ( its the same suspension) .. the kit includes 8 longer bolts for the rear wishbones and a few shims(washers) to put under the screws.. that way you can be certain that you have the correct strength screws and hardware . .. it counldnt cost more than any of the vendors/ebay kits anyways..

or (cheapest diy way..dont attemp if you dont know your bolts strenth and thread etc)

go the hardware store and make your own kit (take out one of the bolts and go to the store(drive another car to the store) and get a bolt thats a wee bit longer and one with the same strength (no 8.8 crap!!!!!)

So all I need is the 95-00 camber kit for the galants which is 8 longer bolts and a few shims?

Yes,it pushes your upper wishbones outward reducing your negative camber ..its pretty simply to install . just dont torque down everything till yourve got everything installed and ,then torque the bolts.

remeber to use jack stands.

Camber kit should take you about a hour to install for both sides. Make sure you have the right tools.

make sure you have a flat head screwdriver. You can use that to pry the suspension from the body to fir the shims in and also use it to line up the shims for the bolts. It makes things much easier.

can you post the print out from your alignment session? if I were you I would find another shop. my 91 gsx had -4* of camber and the shop still got the toe setting to 0*
