HI I JUS PURCHASED MY SECOND TALON THIS ONES AN ES CONVERTED TO TSI AND ITS GOT AN GALANT VR4 4G63T ENGINE IN IT ALREADY RUNS AND DRIVES WITH A 95 5 SPEED TRANS... IT SMOKES REALLY BAD HAVEN HAD TIME TO PERFOR COMPRESSION CHECK OR ANYTHING REALLY I JUS WANT TO REBUILD THIS MOTOR TO PUSH ATLEAST 300-400 HP WHAT TRANS DO I NEED TO USE??? AND WHAT PISTONS AND SO FORTH BASICALLY I WANNA BUILD IT FORM THE OILPAN UP IM USING A EVO III BIG 16G GOING TO A FMIC AND I WANNA REDO A HEAD TO SUIT ALL MY NEEDS IT HAS
Haltech e6x w/ map sensor and flying loom ROUGH TUNED BY TURBO TRIX(which means its running on the rich side , better safe then sorry ) ( no more M.A.F , open atmosphere B.O.V.)
Port and polish , decked and milled Jdm head with new guides and valves , stock bump sticks , stainless steel exhaust bolts and ARP head bolts
Evo 3 exhaust manifold , and 16g turbo
95 gs-t o2 housing , and transmission 85,000 miles on it
Hybrid axles 95 axles stubs on the trans side , 93 for the rest of the axles
660cc injectors from injector clinic
Buschur racing :
Fuel pressure regulator
2.5 down pipe
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
front and rear strut bars
C&R radiator w/ spal fan , and another fan on the out side of the rad, turbo side near front bumper
External oil cooler with SS lines , and earl fittings
Stock side mount intercooler with upgraded upper pipe
TurboSX RFL b.o.v (this thing is very loud you can hear me coming from four blocks away )
3 pipe to turbo inlet with k&n universal cone filter
Findanza light weight fly wheel and ram clutch (slipped right now , needs to be replaced )
Stainless steel clutch line
Stainless steel brake lines front , never got around to the rear
3000gt brake up grade in front ( bigger rotor , and two piston calipers )
Energy suspension bushings in the front a-arms
Interior mods:
Deleted rear seats
Ecu relocated to under passenger seat
PLEASE GUYS I REALLY NEED HELP IN FIGURING OUT WHAT I WANNA KEEP AND NEED TO REPLACE IT SMOKES BAD AND USES ALL THE OIL IN ABOUT 45 -50 MILES BUT IT PULLS HARD AS V8 IT WILL SPIN THE TIRES FORM A 4TH GEAR ROLL EVEN SMOKING THERES PLENTY OF POWER JUS SMOKE ALOT EVEN AT IDLE.... WHAT KINDA PISTONS RING AND RODS AND HOW SHOULD I REDO MY HEAD SHOULD I GO TO 8.3:1 OR 9.1:1 COMPRESSION I NEED HELP IN THESE FIELDS IF U CAN HELP AND STEER ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT........
