Hey everyone yes I allready did the search i found some good treads but no help, Heres the problem i did a boost leak test and found boost leaking around my injectors. So i went to mitsubishi got some seals ordered and installed them turned the car on and darn same thing the engine shaking and the vacumm kinda low and jumpie, so I went back to searching and found a link to the fuel injector clinic and ordered myself some high boost seals go back and turn on the car again and what do you know same thing, I know its around the injecors because when i tested it i pumped 16 psi in the system and hold the injecor down and the air stops leaking but once i let it go again leaking. I took it to the dealer and told them to fix it and whatever it cost i would pay he said to find a tuner shop cause all he would do is fix it back to stock. They thinks its too modded thats the fist explenation they have, all i have is intake and BCS mod exhaust, and im getting really pissed at this point :beatentodeath: :beatentodeath: :beatentodeath: :beatentodeath: .

ANY help is appreciated :)

I would say try teflon tape or some rtv/gasket maker. but you should see what others say first. When I had that problem i just turn the injectors a little to the left or right and the leak stopped but thats because Im too lazy to change the seals:cool:

how did you mount the rings on????? i had same problem before,i change o rings three times in a row,so last thing i did i heated up the o ring a lilbit, lubricated and mount on injectors so when the o ring colled down it was really tight on the injectors, and then i didnt have any leaks ....

If it stops when you push down on them are you sure you have your rail torqued down enough?

Did you use some lubricant when you put them in?

Is it the only place you're leaking? I have a hard time believing your car would have huge problems unless it was leaking REALLY bad there. You may have other leaks.

do you have the rubber insulators at the top of the injectors too? you shouldnt be able to move the injector up and down once the rail is tight

Im going to have to try the gasket maker because yeah the fuel rail is tight and you can move the injectors side to side pretty easy and well that was ht eonly place I found because i kept getting some hissing noise from around the manifold and i could not find the leak until i moved the injector wiring then i moved the injector and bingo no more hissing.

ok im going to try this and also i just realizesd i might have been an idiot because I dont have the lower rings that i circled in the picture i hace those in the garage so i am going to put them in since the insolators are new im just going to put the rings on see what happends

You never answered anyone on if you lubed them when you put them in. If you dont use some dielectric grease or something of the sort then the seals can fold and distort and will leak.

*edit* Just read the o-ring thing, Id agree thats your problem ;)

WTF is wrong with SATAN my my car was totally stock when i got it and when i tried replacing these the first time i took them out there was no lower seals in there, but i did notice that my engine was not nice and smooth at idle it was always a little shakie but i thought that was normal, damn dealers:beatentodeath: .

OK HERES the latest, i went to home depot and got the seals from there like some in the link above provided and my car still cuts out and i can hear hissing from the top were the injectors are like before and the vacumm is still shakie, so what would be the best way to seal the hell out of the F@cking injectors, someone told me gasket maker and let it dry and sit and would never had the problem again.

You never did answer whether the rubber spacer between the top of the injectors and the fuel rail is missing.

Are you still leaking from the same injector after you changed all seals? Also you do have all three plastic spacers that go from the head to the rail (shown in picture in blue circle)?
