You can print that off and bring it to Satan .. They SHOULD be able to look up the part numbers.

Oil filter housing. BUT the numbers would be much better. They could look it up (where you decide to deal with) and get you the right part.

450 from dodge...478 for mitsubishi , this oil cooler problem seemed so simple, but is gonna end up costing a fortune.... better off getting greddy external for 550...

I believe they do joe, Mine came loose and I thought I was screwed, a simple retightening and I didn't have a problem anymore. I would try that first.

Yea make sure it's tight becuase mine wasn't and that o-ring blew on the highway leaving me f'd because all the oil would just poured out there and I had to get a tow into the nearest town. Then the worst part was I had to pay someone 45 dollars labor and 3 dollars a quart to install the part that would have taken me 15 min top to replace.

yeah its tight... :( someone from dsm source offered to sell me his....but he seems kinda shady, money order only....i dont think im digging that ...:notgood:

If it is the oil cooler that is physically leaking, this isn't to common. One thing I would watch is when you do get a new one (if it is infact your issue) make sure to not over tighten the oil filter as I have heard this can crush the cooler & will begin to leak, like you have explained.

spinz4 if you have one that would be awesome if not, i may buy one from mitsu or just go external, and it is definitely the cooler because we changed the gasket and it was stoped most of the leaking but there is a crack in it where it just drips threw the fin.

Just a stab in the dark.. but maybe a $3 spot weld would fix the crack?
Ask your local exhaust shop.

And of course wait for approval of other DSM'ers. :thumb:
