does anyone know how much it would cost me to have my car dynoed and tuned? i live near jacksonville fl?

Shops vary depending on quality of the tune, quality of the dyno, location, and season. My local dyno shop is something like $75 for 3 runs if you tune yourself. If you want the guys who work there to tune, it's an extra $75 per hour.

So for your car to get done, you're looking at something to the tune (no pun intended) of at least $150.

Like he said, it's entirely dependant of how long you want them to work on the car. Lots of places do hourly rentals for you to tune it yourself, or an hourly fee for them to tune it. Typically a baseline will be between 75 and 150, while a full tune can cost more than 500$.

You should also hit up the regional forums. Alot of shops have dyno days or give discounts to multiple customers.

Well, they could get you in the ballpark of powerful and efficient, or they could sit their all day tweaking every little number so that you're on the edge of detonation. The choice is yours based on how much you want to spend, and how consistent your fuel is.

Also, if you're tuning to get the most power, not just to know what the power output is, you could just go to a shop with a 2wd Dyno if you can't find and AWD one. They can do the labor to convert it to FWD pretty quick and just tune it from there. You'll have to pay more for the labor, but if it's your only option, then at least it is an option. Their ability to extract more power isn't going to depend on it being in AWD. This is what FP used to do. Now they have an AWD dyno on the way.

so i mean i want both in one you know? is there a way to get that? i know i need to have my car tuned bad has so much done to it i know the FP needs to be tuned i have the whole fuel system upgraded so anything i can do now to help anything out tune wise?

I just got my car fully tuned by AMS and they charged me $180. But I also have an AFC and a wideband installed, so it only took them about an hour. Usually shops will charge more if you don't have a wideband installed.
