Hello I am about to aquire a 60mm ford throttle body off f an explorer, for free so just wondering if i can use it and would i see a gain in performance. I am a machinist and can make any adapter plates I may need. Thank you.

You're not going to be able to use your isc, which means cold starts are going to really suck. You're going to have to fab up a throttle cable bracket, which can be a pain in the ass. You're going to have to make sure that it even bolts up to your intake manifold, which I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Then if it did, you're going to have to find an elbow, or get a coupling to make the bend to your intercooler piping.

Basically ... It's not worth it. Check into the 1g nt tb's.

Just get a 63mm 1g TB.... everything bolts up. Its like 20 bucks on eBay. You cant even machine a Ford TB to work cheaper.
