Ok, so I can't figure this out. Car was jut put back together, she has 800 miles on her.
Fuel mods:
walbro 255
sbr ss fuel feed line
850cc injectors
full throttle speed fpr set at 43.5psi (or close to it)

As far as I remember everything was fine for the first few hundred miles. Then I start to notice that it smells like gas while driving. I ignore it, the next day I fill the car up with gas and go to work. Go to leave work and noticed a huge puddle under the car. Pop the silver cover to look at the top of the fuel pump and it's dry at the top but you can see it's wet around the twist on cap and leaking down.
All the hoses and lines are dry as a bone. So it's somewhere from where the top of the pump connects to the tank. I took it out yesterday to see if my rubber seal is kinked and it was not. So I put it back on and made sure everything was really snug. Drove it around the block and then parked it in the driveway.
Come out this morning in hopes to drive the car and notice another puddle under the car. Not as big though.

Has anyone had problems with their seals? Wtf could be causing this?

Also, this is odd: The car was sitting in the driveway for 2 weeks and nobody touched it nor started it. no puddle of fuel nothing. Then all of a sudden it decided to leak like a mofo.
how does this happen if I never put pressure in the lines or anything. I don't get it.

Try this out and see if it works. get a friend to help you. remove the inspection cover over your fuel pump and have your friend start the car and let it idle and watch the fuel lines to see if you can find the leak. As to the car leaking after sitting and noone touching it if the temps were high that day your tank would increase in pressure from the heat of the day and this may have caused your problem. the other thing to check is take the car and fill the tank to the top and check the seal around the fuel pump cover. You may have to let the car run for several minutes before it leaks and if it doesnt then shut it off and watch the lines on top of the cover. Hope this helps and keep us posted. Travis

I thought that these cars didn't hold pressure because it was a return system? Also if I let the car sit for awhile the afr reads 0psi.
I let the car run and checked all the lines. They are all dry as a bone. It's leaking around where the assembly gets screwed down. I have been searching for a while and haven't seen anyone that has had a similar problem w/ the gaskets.
I'm going to go to the dealer and get a new gaset anyway.

stupid question: this would have nothing to do with my gas cap functioning proplery, correct?
