Though you don't have to change you springs and stuff with 272's it is reccomended why dont you just get 264's. Also i don't recommend getting them off ebay and i bet others will say the same. The ffwd's are good affordable cam. They can be found used or at an online store resonably priced. If you do choose to go ebay good luck
 
I havent had any experience with em... but from what I read there, the only thing you would get with that cam is the lift. They claim they change the ramp angle, so you wouldnt get the duration, and youll have accelerated ramp speed which may cause some valve float up in high RPMs with stock valvetrain.

Also, I think with your mods, youll see more gain with a 272 type of grind.

With your mods I would recommend the DKS 264/272 combo. You could use those with stock valvetrain as long as you keep the RPM down, and they cost $350 for the pair. They are exact replicas of the HKS 264/272 combo. If you want a bit more, go for their full 272/272 combo. FFWD provides an excellent cam for us 4g63 guys/girls.
 
Word. I did not want to go with the hks because of the price, I read some threads and they talked about using lifter shims for those ffwd DKS cams. IS this something I could do myself? with basic tools?

Yes, the shim is just a spacer because the cam is a regrind so the cam is lobe is smaller than stock. The spacer just keeps the stock lifter up against the aftermarket cam lobe.

So basically when you install the cam, you drop the spacer in before the lifter.
