suspension adjustable vs. unadjustable

My question is can i use unadjustable shocks with a lowering kit or coilovers. im buying a new set or shocks for xmas and a lowering kit and i want to know what i should get for my n/t that i will turbo in the summer. im stickly down for street and not going for over 300 horses. mainly becuz my brother is going to get this car when i get a gst or gsx

You can use any shock with valving robust enough to handle the higher spring rates that go along with lowering. Entry level coilover packages may not be adustable but the higher level packages will typically have adjustable valving, the better ones have separate compression and rebound adjustment.

Well, it depends on what you want your car for and how much money are you willing to spend and how long are you going to have your car for.
When I had my 98 N/T eclipse, I bought tokicos pro kit pakage. They were non adjustable. The ride was much stiffer than stock and the car sat very low. The tokico kit lowered my car for about almost 2 inches. I couldn't fit a jack under the car or couldn't use ramps to lift the car because it was sitting very low. You ask if you could use non adjustable shocks. What kind? Are you only going to buy the coilovers or adjustable springs and installed them on your current shocks?? If so, don't do it! Its better to get everything new. I believe you can use them on non adjustable. Some people here are using non adjustables with lowering springs and had no problems. I wouldn't. I rather buy a set of true coilovers but whatever fits your budget.
