I'm picking up some gauges for christmas and I need to make a choice, Cyberdyne Blue Ice oil pressure, Air/Fuel and Boost gauge, relatively low on cost and from what a friend tells me they are reliable, or Autometer Phantom series, same three gauges. Anyone use Cyberdyne or Autometer and have any recomendations for me? It would really really help a lot.

Thanks, Mike

Autometer are pretty reliable and low cost guages, im not sure of the track record on the cyberdyne guages, they look cool and all being all digital but i dont trust the accuracy, also the a/f guage is nothing more than a annoying light that dosnt do anything, dont wast your money unless you get a wideband a/f which can get costly

Yeah I think I'm going to go with the Autometer Phantom series, I might just pick up a boost and oil pressure for now, I don't like the stock one and my oil pressure one doesn't work.

What wideband would you recommend, I want to put a wideband o2 sensor in when I change the turbo and intercooler, just need a reliable gauge.Any ideas?

If your just starting out i wouldnt pick up the wideband its a great tool but they can be very pricy. I personlly have an AEM UEGO and i like it but alot of other people like others. Its up to you but if i were you i would just get the small guages and then i would get a cheapp logger then you have a good starting point

i have all matching phantom series gauges and love them! i switched out the bulb in the back and soldered in four leds on the boost and egt to match my blue dash lights!! love the gauges!! also since the a/f is being talked about. does any body know of the site that sells the autometer modded a/f gauges?? they take them and re calibrate them for much better accuracy and looks cool too but i lost it since i had my computer re imaged????
