and feels like it might be slipping a bit when you put it in reverse and start moving then it stops doing it once you get rolling. So what now a reverse band going bad!!??:notgood: I have had one go out on me before in this car in a 10 month time!!! wtf This one is out of a 96 talon with 85k miles on it what do you guys think?? Should I just switcj to a 5 speed. I never had a manual car before!!

Well I got from a guy on here, so I guess a junkyard would be the answer . (not rebuilt) I didnt have the cash.

I checked the tranny fluid and its full. So do You guys think I should try a filter and fluid change first and taking the valve body off and cleaning it?

Find some Lucas Oil transmission fluid additive. It supposedly helps slipping and other things. Put it in with your fluid change.

I had it checked at the trans shop.my buddy said it was a little low, so he put 1/2 quart of amsoil in test drove it and said it was fine. Then I can still fell the rsverse doing its slip thing just a little bit. So should I put another half quart of trans fluid and see what happens. He said a bit more woud not hurt.
