Pulled my motor this weekend to build it and throw in an act 2600. When I popped the tranny off, I see the familiar yellow pressure plate. Previous owner forgot to tell me about this mod. My question is how do I identify which act clutch this is. There are a couple of serials on it but no actual numbers like 2100 or 2600. Anyone know how to identify this clutch? Cheers

You should be able to tell from the diffrence in peddle feel. 2100 feel much like stock dsm but the 2600 feels like a diesel truck clutch.

Should have a white sticker with a HD or XT in a series matching the kits model number.

I dont see any such sticker. The only sticker I see has a company by the name of sfi, and a serial number. Serial is 021344. Can anyone identify this for me? Cheers

EDIT: I also beleive that the flywheel is aftermarket as well, but it only has one sticker on it as well, with the sfi name.

the 2600 has a extra ring welded around on the inside its hard to eplain if you have a pic i could tell ya ill look for a pic of my 2600 when i changed it and post it up

ACT 2600 / Fidanza Flywheel
I agree, but if you want to confirm that you can call SFI and the support department can tell what you have off the numbers on those stickers :thumb:. They keep it all in their database. Their number is 858-451-8868 (pulled from their website - http://www.sfifoundation.com). I called them at the beginning of the week to identify my flywheel.

that looks like the 2100 sorry so late for the reply it sliped my mind also if you call in and find out please let me know if im wrong thanks

What are the #'s/letters stamped in the pressure plate. They should be around the act stamp at the 8'oclock position on the flywheel in the pic and it looks like more around the 12'oclock(more like 11:30) position.

The fw is a fidanza.
