i think i messed up bad guys. i just ordered a set of brembo rotors and pro ceramic front pads from tirerack, but the rotors were for abs models. im pretty sure that my car does not have abs. how do i know if i have it?

do i need to cancel the order? if so ill have to wait till monday since they are closed sunday....

does it really matter if i have abs or not?! i mean will both sets of rotors fit and work well?

any help is greatly appreciated

YOu can tell if you ABS by looking at the axle. If the outer axle hub (the part of the axle that goes into the rotor has a ring ( It looks like a gear) with teeth on it, then you have ABS. If not, then you don't.

I don't think that the RS turbo came with abs anyway.

having abs or not shouldn't matter because i dont see that affecting the lug pattern or size of the rotor at all, but i could be wrong

i decided to bring back this old thread because i didnt want to start a new one.

does anyone know for sure if the rotors for models with abs will work on my non abs laser?

tirerack says their tech team doesnt think so but i dont see what the difference would be.

im thinking of just trying to install them and see if they fit or not then go from there, but what do you guys think?

Ok your 90 Laser does not have ABS. The rotors will not work on the non-abs car. Believe me I have tried.
